Do you struggle with sin?

Why don’t we talk of our struggle?

These past three days our theme has been encouragement. We’ve looked at Biblical examples of encouragement, we’ve looked at how to encourage one another, and we’ve looked at advice given to us in proverbs.

How important is it to encourage one another? Gavin, if you never recieved encouragement in basketball would you continue? Jon, if you were never encouraged in your ministry to the Church would you continue? Eric, if all people did was complained about your work as a chiropractor, would you continue?

We all deeply desire to be encouraged.... but how well do we encourage others?

Hebrews 11 encouragement to me, Hebrews 12:1-2 encouraged by witness run race w/endurance. Jesus w/ joy ran despite cross, shame now rewarded at right hand

One of the biggest things we can do to encourage one another is described in Phil. 3:12-14.

None obtained, perfect. We all struggle w/sin, life, family, mind. Yet our temptation it act like we don’t struggle, like we have obtained, like we are perfect
