Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus,
“in Christ Jesus”
“No Condemnation”
Therefore way is it therefore?
What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself am serving the law of God, but with my flesh, the law of sin.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation!!!!!!!!”
Not less condemnation.
because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do since it was weakened by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering, in order that the law’s requirement would be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
The law could teach us but couldn’t change us like being made new in Christ.
Law’s requirement would be fulfilled in us.
If I’m good enough can I go to heaven?
Ten Commandments
1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make idols.
3. You shall not take the name of the LORD you God in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covert.
Base on just the 10 who is good enough?
At the end of verse 4 is the proof of the change.
For those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on the things of the Spirit. Now the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace. The mindset of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Where is your mind set?
Jesus turned and told Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

Now the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace.
What do you think of more the things of this world or the things of GOD?
The mindset of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so.
This the source of the hostility some have against GOD.
Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
This is the hard truth in our flesh we cannot please GOD.
This mean we need help.
In order to please God we must be in Christ Jesus.
You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.
Do I have the spirit of God?
Has he change you?
He you followed Him to thing you didn’t think you could do?
When faced with temptation in there a war inside of you on what to do?
Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through his Spirit who lives in you.
In Christ we have the joy of resurrection.
