This week, what that relationship ought to look like

the demon possessed man, an outcast that no one else will talk to but Jesus goes out to meet him

the bleeding woman, one with a mysterious disease that no one could understand

Jairus’ daughter, one whom everyone would have sympathy for

Jesus away from his disciples

finds one woman, a conversation that is culturally inappropriate for many reasons

shes been looking for the thing that Jesus offers freely in all of the wrong places

with just one conversation with one woman he changes a whole people group

Application

when you read the great commission, the task can seem daunting

when we slow down and look at how Jesus did it, you and I can work in at least a similar way

all we need is to work on one relationship at a time
