The Bible is divided into two main sections — the Old Testament and the New Testament.
2. There are 66 individual books in the Bible, with 39 of them in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.
3. The Overall Theme of the Old Testament involves things like the Creation of the World, the Problem of Sin, the Selection of Abraham and his Descendants (the Nation of Israel), the Law of Moses, and the Coming Messiah & Kingdom.
4. The Overall Theme of the New Testament involves the Life of Jesus Christ; His Selection of Apostles; His Miracles; His Teachings; His Death, Burial, and Resurrection; the Establishment of His Kingdom (Church); and Letters (Epistles) to His Church.
5. The Old Testament can be divided into 5 main sections:
The Pentateuch (Torah) - Genesis through Deuteronomy
