We find Jesus in our passage on his way to Jerusalem. Jesus is teaching on, responding, he is being threaten, he is warning, he is talking to relgoius leaders, the crowds and exspeactlyhe is talking to his disciples the Kingdom of God.
In Jesus time many of the people he incountered thought themselves to be on God’s side. The crowds and Jewsish leaders thought they were good or at least safe inside their prilaged stataces.
