1 Thessalonians 4:15–18 NKJV
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
The revelation of the resurrection was given from Christ Himself.
So the resurrection of the dead will happen immediately before those who are alive in Christ.
so not only the souls of the dead will raise but also the bodies.
He believed that the rapture was imminent and will take place any moment.
1 Thessalonians 1:10 NKJV
10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

“ time is short”
Philippians 4:5 NKJV

“ The Lord is near”
the truth of this immiense should bring forth comfort
1 Thessalonians 4:18 NKJV
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Christ coming for His saints refer to the rapture of the church.
When will the rapture happen there are four views Partial Rapture, Post-tribulation Rapture, pretribulation rapture, and Prewrath Rapture.
The tribulation refers to seven years of judgment that take place in the eschaton, a time when God will rain judgment upon the earth in general and the nation of Israel in particular.
Partial Rapture- A view related to the rapture which posits that not all believers will be raptured at the same time.
Post Tribulation - is a view that the rapture will happen after the tribulation period.
Pretribulation Rapture - A view related to the rapture which posits that believers will be raptured before the Great Tribulation.
This view is the view that I agree with because the tribulation period is a time for Gods judgement to come upon all the earth.
But Gods judgement for the believers was places upon His Son. So how would the church be judged twice.
Plus the church is a separate entity from the world. and the church is mentioned in the first 3 chapters of the book of revelation but not during the tribulation period which seems like the church won’t be there.
Prewrath Rapture- A view related to the rapture which posits that believers will be raptured after the Great Tribulation but before The Day of the Lord.
