Women are BUILDERS!

Introduction/Foundational

Read Genesis 1:27–28 (NLT)

27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”
Male and Female are considered as equals before God. No one is more than the other. Both were given the responsibility to manage and the authority to rule the earth. Both should work together on this.
The Apostle Paul says the same in Galatians 3: 28 “28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.” AND 1 Corinthians 11: 11-12 “11 But among the Lord’s people, women are not independent of men, and men are not independent of women. 12 For although the first woman came from man, every other man was born from a woman, and everything comes from God.”
Both are EQUALS but dependent on each other.

Read Proverbs 14:1 (NLT)

1 A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.
By wisdom a woman builds her home. This makes women builders! Not physical, BUT she is called to build a home, a family. In Proverbs 24: 3, “A house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense.”
So God has given the women the responsibility to build her home.
LET’S BUILD!

3 Main Points:

Build with a Strong Foundation
The Word of God
The strength of any house or building lies in its foundation. Stronger the foundation, stronger the building.
A foundation cannot be weak. The taller it is, the deeper the foundation has to be. It must be able to bear load and hold up right.
A christian home is build upon the ROCK, Jesus Christ!
Matthew 7:24–27 NLT
24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”
Knowing the WORD is NOT the strong foundation! It is the application of it!
A wise woman builds herself and her home, ON THE ROCK! Read 2 Timothy 1: 5
2 Timothy 1:5 (NLT)
5 I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you.
Build with a Strong Connection
Prayer
A strong foundation (solid rock) is important to build upon. Next to it, a strong connection to the SOLID ROCK is also important.
With strong connection we mean a strong relationship with God through PRAYER. Spend more time with him in prayer to grow your connection with the Solid Rock, day by day.
Let your family see your prayer lifestyle. Pray with and for them. A family that prays together, stays together.
Difficult times are ahead of us. Prayer takes away all anxieties! Read Philippians 4: 6.
Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Prayer is seeking god’s help to build your HOME with supernatural strength instead of natural strength.
Build with Strong BRICKS of LOVE
The Brick of Love
Stronger the brick, stronger the HOUSE!
In Ephesians 5: 22, the bible instructs the husband to LOVE their wives. In Titus 2: 3, the bible instructs the WOMEN to LOVE their husbands and children.
Titus 2:3–4 (NLT)
3 Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good.
4 These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children,
Women build with the BRICK of LOVE! reminder to talk about character, obedience, and submission.
An environment of love and affection is important to a happy and joyful home!
Love is to be unconditional like in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
How to EXPRESS LOVE? (Build with bricks of love)
A meal together
Sitting and listening to them
Quality time
Etc.
Proverbs 31 speaks of a virtuous (v10), trustworthy (v11), good (v12), industrious (v13-22), watchful (v25), compassionate (v20), God fearing (v30), strong (v25), and honorable (v25) WOMAN. Use the BRICK of LOVE to BE a VIRTUOUS WOMAN!
