Introduction

Last week we looked at the responsibility we have to share the Gospel with the world around us, this week we are going to look at the humanity of Jesus

The role of Angels vs. 5

The angels have considerable authority in the present world we live in today
Dan. 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”
Matt 18:10 “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.”
When Jesus sets up the millenial world he will personally reign over it
Rev. 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
Jesus will also reign in the eternal world to come
Rev. 11:15 “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

What the Psalms say about Jesus vs. 6-7

The certain place mention in verse 6 is Psalm 8:4-5 “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, And hast crowned him with glory and honour.”
Jesus who was better than the angels (Hebrews 1:4) was made a little (this means a little time - 33 years) lower than the angels
Jesus who was the Divine word became flesh (John 1:14)
Jesus who was equal with God became a servant (Phil. 2:7)

What is under the subjection of Jesus vs. 8

Everything is under the subjection of Jesus
Jesus as the perfect man and as Son of man at times during his first coming exercised his future dominion over the earth
