The Cost Of Breaking Limitations

Luke 1:17 KJV
17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
Luke 1:26–28 KJV
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
Malachi 4:5–6 KJV
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Limitations:

Restrictive weakness; lack of capacity; inability or handicap: Something that limits; or bound; • a condition of limited ability;

Do you Know what Your Limit’s are In God?
There is None..
Luke 1:37 KJV
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Do You Know what Limits God to Move On Our behalf?
Lack Of faith
Hebrews 11:6 KJV
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
So the question then moves to: What gets in your way of having faith in God to know
nothing shall be impossible?

The Cost Of Breaking Limitations

1. Breaking free from Mind Sets & Belief Systems

What you know
• What you heard
• What you believe
13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son,
15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. 19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season
We Know: Women in there late 80’s can’t get pregnant
We have never heard: of a baby being Filled with the Holy ghost while in his mothers Womb
We believe: Jesus & his Big Cousin John encountered each other while in their mothers Womb. And the baby leaped.
Just because you little Mind, your little imagination or your little faith have stopped you in the past to believe in impossible things doesn’t mean you have to go into another year with limitations..

Breaking Limitations

Matthew 8:26 AMP
26 And He said to them, Why are you timid and afraid, O you of little faith? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great and wonderful calm (a perfect peaceableness).
Matthew 17:20 AMP
20 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.
He Called it Little faith
Mark 11:22–25 AMP
22 And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. 23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. 24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. 25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.
Our Prayer life is limited with little faith, & When we lack faith its hard to forgive
1 John 4:20 AMP
20 If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.
The Three Common Groups Of Church Members
Luke 8:13–15 AMP
13 And those upon the rock [are the people] who, when they hear [the Word], receive and welcome it with joy; but these have no root. They believe for a while, and in time of trial and temptation fall away (withdraw and stand aloof). 14 And as for what fell among the thorns, these are [the people] who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked and suffocated with the anxieties and cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not ripen (come to maturity and perfection). 15 But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience.
Rootless Faith (fall Away)
Choked Up Faith (Immature Christian)
Fruitful Faith
We can rationalize Our behavior all we want with our smart self, but being educated, rich or popular doesn’t mean you have fruitful faith..
Romans 1:17 AMP
17 For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.

2. Breaking Free From Tradition

This is how we do it!!!
This is the only way I know how to do it!!
I am frustrated and it has to be another way of doing it!!
Theology: a doctrine believed to have divine authority though not in the scriptures, in particular:

Tradition

1 the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way: • a long-established custom or belief that has been passed on in this way:
• (in Christianity) doctrine not explicit in the Bible but held to derive from the oral teaching of Jesus and the Apostles.
• (in Judaism) an ordinance of the oral law not in the Torah but held to have been given by God to Moses.
• (in Islam) a saying or act ascribed to the Prophet but not recorded in the Koran.

What Tradition do You embrace that limits God from operating in you?

Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day, Super Bowl Sunday?
I’d Like to Challenge your Limitations: When it comes to your worship and your relationship with Christ

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

We are created in his image and likeness: Both Male & female
The female was created by removing a bone close to the mans hart.
What if Our commitment To Christ is similar to what a Women desires is from her husband
I am going to throw out a few things i think a women needs in a Man. ( Note 2 self what if this is what God want’s from you?)
Intimacy: Physical Touch, Verbal affirmations etc
John 4:24 KJV
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Love: Totally Committed to only them
Luke 10:27 KJV
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Submission: To The Vision of The Families future

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Companionship: Daily Communication, Love, Affection & Appreciation
Psalm 18:19 KJV
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
Psalm 23 TPT
David’s poetic praise to God 1 The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. 2 He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss. 3 That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name. 4 Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. 5 You become my delicious feast even when my enemies dare to fight. You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit; you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows. 6 So why would I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!
Ladies what Did I miss? what does a women need in a Man.
