Faith in General

Ephesians 2:8–9 CSB
For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—not from works, so that no one can boast.
All Christians have saving faith.

Spiritual Gift of Faith

Hebrews 11:1 CSB
Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.
The gift of faith may be defined as the special gift whereby the Spirit provides Christians with extraordinary confidence in God’s promises, power, and presence so they can take heroic stands for the future of God’s work in the church. The spiritual gift of faith is exhibited by one with a strong and unshakeable confidence in God, His Word, and His promises.

Faith Knows all things are possible

Recently a few of us from church had the opportunity to attend the Oasis Pregnancy Medical Center annual banquet. The keynote speaker was Kirk Walden, a prominent voice in the Pro-Life arena, activist, and Pregnancy medical Center directors.
One of the things that stood out to me was in relation to statements he made, and that I had heard about him previously.
Roe V Wade. Most people, the vast majority would be an understatement, considered Roe V. Wade to be the law of the land. Something that would never change.
I heard repeatedly that Kirk Walden always said: it’s ending. When other voices said, no way; Kirk would say: ONE DAY!
He said I believe that, in my lifetime, Roe V. Wade will be overturned.
And then he said this: My God is that big!
Matthew 19:26 CSB
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
