1 Chronicles 29:12–13 “Power and might are in your hand, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all. Now therefore, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.”

Be Thou My Vision
My prayer is that this would be proclaimed in word and in deed. May our vision be placed on Christ.
Scritpure reading
Scritpure reading
Jeremiah 31:31–34 ““Look, the days are coming”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. This one will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt—my covenant that they broke even though I am their master”—the Lord’s declaration. “Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”—the Lord’s declaration. “I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”—this is the Lord’s declaration. “For I will forgive their iniquity and never again remember their sin.”
Prayer of confession
Prayer of confession
The prayer of confession can reflect on ways we sin in light of the Scripture passage. For example: Resisting the Holy Spirit's work of conviction, lack of Bible reading, slowness to speak the truth in love to fellow Christians/members, etc.
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!”
Worship through giving
Worship through giving
Giving: Giving is an act of worship. And so we take time in our services to worship through giving. In 1 Timothy 6, the apostle Paul gives these instructions to Christians who are materially wealthy. In comparison with the rest of the world, Americans are in general financially wealthy. Hear these instructions for us from God:
1 Timothy 6:17–19 (CSB):
“17 Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. 18 Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and willing to share, 19 storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of what is truly life.”
As the ushers prepare to collect our gifts and offerings, let’s pray a prayer of thanks to God for his provision for us.
Prayer of Thanks: [Explain the importance of intercessory prayer and supplication in the life of the church]
Lord, we confess that every good and perfect gift comes from you—from your fatherly hand. We also confess that we long to be cheerful givers, demonstrating with our lives and with our gifts the God you are—worthy of all honor and praise. Accept these gifts of ours we pray as investments in heavenly treasures—and as proof that we serve Christ and not money. Use them for the building up of your church, the spread of the gospel, and the fame of Christ’s name. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen!
As we sing our next song, His Mercy Is More, please remain seated as the offerings bags are passed.
