I. We Are to Be Holy As God is Holy

1 Peter 1:15–17 “15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:”
E. You Are to Be Holy Unto Your God and Not Cuss, Not Profane Using Your God’s Name
Leviticus 21:6 “6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.”

II. We Are to Be Perfect

A. We Are to Be Perfect Like God the Father in Heaven
Matthew 5:48 “48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
B. We Are All to Come Into the Unity of Faith by Knowledge of the Son of God to Be Unto a Perfect Man Unto the Measure of the Stature of Fulnees of Christ
Ephesians 4:12–14 “12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
C. By Becoming Perfect, Not Children, We Will Not Be Tossed To and Fro by Every Wind of Doctrine
D. Doctrine of Slight of Men and Cunning Craftiness

III. We Are to Live Righteously
