You live the physical, so that you can share the spiritual
Change of Direction
Matthew 22:35–40 - “And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
Love God. Love People.
We have worked hard to ingrain the need for our church to connect to our community for the purpose of the Gospel!
A portion of our covenant is about engaging our community and the world through our time, resources and finances.
Changing our Constitution, Covenant and Bylaws was the first major step in leading FBC to connect to its community.
Events - Evangelism is Primary
We plan events, so we can share the gospel.
“You meet the physical, so that you can share the spiritual.”
We are involved in our Local Food Bank, Movies in the Park, School Events and Activities, provide an Easter Eggstravaganza, VBS, Fall Festival, etc…anything that gives us identity in our community that can be leveraged for the gospel
From Church Policy to Community Events we have worked hard to establish a culture of reaching out and evangelism at FBC Diboll...

Jeremiah 20:9 - If I say, “I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name,” there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot.
