What’s the outcome that I want the people to get ?
Isaiah 14:26–28 “I have a plan for the whole earth, a hand of judgment upon all the nations. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?” This message came to me the year King Ahaz died:”
CEV
I have planned this for the whole world, and my mighty arm controls every nation. 27 I, the Lord All-Powerful, have made these plans. No one can stop me now!
Life can be full of obstacles that we never thought we'd have to face. There are some days when everything seems to be going wrong, and we wonder if we'll ever find our way out of the darkness. It's during these tough times that we start to feel powerless and scared, as if we're trapped in an unending cycle of pain and struggle. But despite the overwhelming challenges we face, we must remember that we have the strength within us to rise above adversity and overcome anything life throws our way. No matter how hard things may seem, we can face them head-on and come out the other side stronger and more resilient than ever before.
Yet as people of faith, we know that with God on our side, nothing can thwart His plan for our lives. What God ordains for us will come to pass, no matter the opposition. When we walk in God's will, our destiny is unstoppable. So even when the darkness seems to overwhelm us, we can find hope and courage in our faith. We can be sure that God will lead us out of this valley and into a place of blessing and restoration. That's why it's so important for us to trust Him, surrender our worries to Him, and allow His grace to guide us through every trial.
I. God's Plan Cannot Be Stopped
A. Hook: Think of a time you tried to block something from happening, only to realize your efforts were futile. Just as we cannot stop a boulder rolling down a mountain, we cannot halt the fulfillment of God's purposes.
God's Plan Cannot Be Stopped! Yeah, I know, there are some circumstances that seem to stand in the way. But you need belief in God for everything to work out.
B. Exegesis: In the book of Acts, we read how the religious authorities tried to silence the apostles from spreading the gospel. Yet Acts 5:39 says, "But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God." The apostles faced resistance, but God's will prevailed.
God can hear the desires in your heart and perform the miracle you need.
Don't let what you cannot do stop you from doing what you can do."
C. Application: When we follow God's leading, opposition may arise. But we can be confident that God's plan cannot be thwarted. As Romans 8:31 assures us, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" Trust that God will accomplish His purposes, regardless of the obstacles.
"Today's test is tomorrow's testimony."
D. "Beloved, understand this: when the enemy sees he cannot obstruct the divine purpose God has for you, he shifts his tactics, trying to drown you in a sea of fear and shame. But I've come to tell you today, don't bow down to these emotions! Instead, lift your eyes and heart to the Lord in unwavering faith. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, let the words of our Savior, Jesus Christ, resonate deep within your spirit: 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
Always remember, my brothers and sisters, we are in the hands of an omnipotent God, a God so faithful that He promises never to leave us, never to forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Stand firm in that promise!"
Transition: Not only is God's plan unstoppable, but...
II. God's Protection Cannot Be Stopped
God's protection is an unbreakable shield that covers and shields those who trust in Him. No force in the universe can stop it. Whether it is physical danger, emotional turmoil, or spiritual warfare, God's protection is steadfast and unwavering. Even in the face of great adversity, those who put their faith in God can rest assured that they are secure and protected. This is not to say that bad things will never happen to believers, but it does mean that God will always be with them, guiding them through difficult times and giving them the strength they need to overcome any obstacle.
A. Hook: Think of a time you felt danger was imminent, but God's hand of protection spared you. Just as fortress walls safeguard a city, God's power shields us.
B. Exegesis: In 2 Kings chapter 6, the prophet Elisha was surrounded by an enemy army. But his servant declared in verse 16, "Don’t be afraid, for there are more on our side than on theirs!" Then Elisha prayed that God would open the servant's eyes, and he saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire protecting them.
Storms don't come to last, they come to pass."
C. Application: When we walk with God, His angels encamp around us. No weapon formed against us will prosper. We can have confidence that God's hand of protection cannot be removed. He will preserve and deliver us.
Transition: With God's plan and protection unstoppable, there is one more thing that cannot be stopped -
III. God's Promises Cannot Be Stopped
A. Hook: Think of a time you doubted a promise would come true, only to later see it fulfilled just as promised. God's promises are as secure as the rising of the sun.
Destiny is not something that happens to us; destiny is the hand of God at work in our lives.
B. Exegesis: Let me break it down for you. In the book of Joshua, God promised to give His people the whole land of Canaan. Even with enemies and resistance all around, by Joshua 11:23, the Bible says "Joshua took the entire land, just as the LORD had directed Moses." God's promise was fulfilled, period.
I'm convinced that within God's will, each individual possesses a destiny that cannot be halted. The real question is:
Do you have the courage to step into it, trusting in God and that HE is for you ?
What God orders, He pays for."
C. Application: If God has spoken a promise over your life, you can be assured it will come to pass in His timing. No obstacle or delay can prevent its fulfillment. As Isaiah 55:11 declares, "So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire." Trust in His promises.
