He knows All About Me

He knows Me better than I know myself. Psalms 33:13 The LORD looks down from heaven and sees every person.14  From his throne he watches all who live on earth.15  He made their hearts and understands everything they do. To begin with Brothers and sisters I ran across this beautiful text purely by pressing accident. I was looking up Psalms 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: For thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. And while looking this scripture up I found Psalms 33: 13. When the old folks use to say that Good Lord sits up high and looks down low and He sses everything. I used to say that that’s a cliche’ But the Cliche’s is really real.

1. God Looks down on mankind. And so From the great white throne and from the Bema Seat God sees us. From the Mercy seat God sees us, From the Throne of Judgement God sees us. The word of Power says that 13 The LORD looks down from heaven and sees every person. And that got me to thinking. I said Dear God you see me even while I slumber and sleeps Because Psalms 121 declares that the Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps. And Lord the word says that we’ve got Guardian angels watching over us all night and all day , than what in the world am I staying up all nigh worrying about stuff. Real story

My RayJ Raymond Allen Jr. was in Southern University Marching Band and I would try to stay up to make sure he got home safe from practice. I’d fall asleep in my chair many nights waiting until one night the Lord said go to bed and get some good sleep. I went to bed and ain’t tried to stayed up since. My baby boy Adam is in Southern’s Marching Band now and I don’t stay up no mo about nothing. I heard one of the deacons pray thank you Lord for watching over our children while they are not in our presence. And that’s real because them children grown now and you can’t be with them everywhere they go. So it’s going to take the Lord to watch over them. 13 The LORD looks down from heaven and sees every person.

Literally this is a part of the Omnipresent Nature of God. You can’t see everything if you’re not there to see it, so in order for God to see everything God has to be everywhere to see it all. God sees the good the bad and the ugly. In Genesis when mankind thought to do what ever was in the imagination of man. God said let us now go down to planet earth and see what the imagination of mankind has cooked up. Because has thought to do evil in the eyesight of God. They wanted to build the tower of babel to reach up too God and be their own god. Yes indeed! God confounded the architectural designers the engineers the skilled laborers, and the complete working staff. God saw that they mankind had gone in thee wrong direction, and God confused their mind and their languages nobody couldn’t understand anybody else. They had to separate and many languages came about through mankind wayward warped and wicked ways.

1. The Lord sees everything we do. And so let’s watch that we are doing the things that pleases God.

Then there is verse 14  From his throne he watches all who live on earth.

God is watching you. before you go and do something that you know is wrong, God is watching you. And it ought to bother you.

Tell your neighbor: “It ought to bother you”. Yeah because the bible say the souls that sinneth shall surely die. it ought to bother you when you do wrong. And you’re doing wrong and it doesn’t phase you, that’s when you know you’re far off the mark. Normally when you do wrong it bothers you, right? But you could want something or someone or someplace so badly until have the sin of commission. Meaning I deliberately sinned against God and I knew it and then I went even further to the sin of Submission. Submission is when I refuse to listen to what the word of God says concerning my life. David was the King of Israel and instead of going to the war David stayed home and relaxed on his roof top. Uriah's wife Bathsheba was taking bath outdoors. and David’s Palace over look her little courtyard. David went plum crazy when he saw Bathsheba. David got servants to go and get her and bring her to the palace. and when David found out she was married, he should have said I’m sorry I made a mistake go back home!!! But David laid with her. David’s moral compass was skied by his lustful desires. Then David covered up the affair when Bathsheba got pregnant.David calls Uriah home from the war so he could sleep with his wife Bathsheba but Uriah’s loyalty got him killed, because Uriah slept outside the door of his home and wouldn’t sleep with his own wife Bathsheba. Then David the commander of his army put Uriah on the front lines of the war, then pull the other soldiers back so Uriah would be killed. God sees all of this. Then after Uriah was dead David takes Bathsheba and marries her. Then because verse 14 says From his throne he watches all who live on earth. Now the Good Lord employs the Prophet Nathan and dispatch him to go and tell David about himself. Nathan said King David I’ve been with you through the thin and the thin but king you wrong. King you took that married woman and slept with her got pregnant tried to cover it up, then had her husband killed and then you turned around and married her so when the bay comes the people won’t know you had a baby out of wedlock. David that was a dirty deed and far beneath the character of a king. David the Lord according to Psalms 33:14   From his throne he watches all who live on earth. Brothers and sisters God sits up high and He looks down low and He doesn’t miss anything. I’ve done some sinful things that I’ve got to live with but make no mistake about it You might get by but you’ll never ever get away with it” Ask me why you won’t get away with it? Because the mills of justice grind slowly but they grind exceedingly fine. Oh Lordy! God sees everything David had to repent and ask God to Create in me a clean heart oh God renew the right spirit within me. Because the Good Lord From his throne he watches all who live on earth. So watch what you do brothers and sisters. You might do something that your partner may never find out about but God sees everything He Knows.

Tell your neighbor: God Know

Then 3 in verse 15. He made their hearts and understands everything they do. He made me and He knows all about me.. In fact He knows me better than I know myself. God made my heart!! Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. God knows what’s in our hearts better than we know. Because He’s the Creator and we’re a part of His Creation. He’s the Designer and we’re a part of His Design. And the Psalmist is saying that we ought to stand in awe over Our God because in verse

6. The sky was made at the LORD’s command.By the breath from his mouth, he made all the stars.

7. He gathered the water of the sea into a heap. He made the great ocean stay in its place.

8. All the earth should worship the LORD; the whole world should fear him.

9. He spoke, and it happened. He commanded, and it appeared.

God is the Creator and anybody with a little bity sense will give Him the Glory, honor, and the praise of which He so richly deserves. None of us can say that we made it all or that we have all power or that we are all knowing or that we are everywhere at the same time. Only God can demonstrate that He’s the Alpha and the Omega The Beginning and the Ending

Only God can say that

He’s Elohim The Mighty Creator Only God can say that

He’s El Roi the God that sees me. Only God can say that

He’s El Shaddai The All Sufficient One God Almighty Only God can say that

He’s Jehovah Uzzi The Lord my Strength

Only God can say that

He’s Jehovah Gibbor The Lord Mighty in Battle.

Only God can say that

He’s Jehovah Ezrah The Lord my Helper

Only God can say that

He’s Jehovah Jireh The Lord my Provider.

Only God can say that He’s Jehovah Goel the Redeeming God yes

Only God can say that He’s Jehovah Shalom the Prince of Peace

Only God can say that He’s Jehovah Nissi The Lord my Banner

Only God can say that

He’s Jehovah Rapha The Lord who Heals our bodies. Thank you Lord yes because

Only God can say that He’s Jehovah Tzidkenu The Lord our Righteousness. Only God can say that He’s Bara The Creator and Only Jesus can say that He’s Bread in a starving Land Water in dry places

Only Jesus can say that He’s our Propitiation My Lord that took my place and let me go free.

Only Jesus can say that He’s our Parakletos our Advocate that intercede to the Father on mankind’s behalf. Thank you Jesus .And

Only Jesus can say that He’s the suffering servant because Isaiah 53: 5  But he was pwounded for our transgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities:The chastisement of our peace was upon him; And with his stripes we are healed. Because they whip my Lord all night long . Tried Him from Judgement Hall to Judgement Hall and sentenced Him to death by crucifixion . Oh Lordy They took my Lord and your God and led Him on up Calvary’s Hill Pick a crown of throns on his head Nailed His hands and riveted ed His feet Hung Him on the Cross Pierce Him in His side and the blood came streaming down Oh Lord and I heard that He died. Didn’t He die . But Early Sunday Morning He Got Up From the Grave with All Power in His hands.
