Matthew 11:28–30 (KJV 1900)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
There is a yoke that is of God, there is a bruden that is of God.
This Yoke is easy, this burden is light.
The burden and Yoke of this world (egypt)
Exodus 7:16 NKJV
16 And you shall say to him, ‘The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness”; but indeed, until now you would not hear!
The yoke and burden of this world only enslaves, brings misery pain and suffering.
God delivered the people of israel so that they may serve him.
The world keeps us from seeking freedom and think about Canaan God’s promise land by keeping us captives to it through all kinds of burdens and yoke.
Pharoah response to Moses request was to place a heavier load on the people, because they had time to think about leaving Egypt to serve God in the wilderness.

Satan’s deception.

Luke 21:34–35 (NKJV)
34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Hebrews 12:1 NKJV
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 Chronicles 12:1–10 (NKJV)
1 Now it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom and had strengthened himself, that he forsook the law of the Lord, and all Israel along with him.
2 And it happened in the fifth year of King Rehoboam that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had transgressed against the Lord,
3 with twelve hundred chariots, sixty thousand horsemen, and people without number who came with him out of Egypt—the Lubim and the Sukkiim and the Ethiopians.
4 And he took the fortified cities of Judah and came to Jerusalem.
5 Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah, who were gathered together in Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “Thus says the Lord: ‘You have forsaken Me, and therefore I also have left you in the hand of Shishak.’ ”
6 So the leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, “The Lord is righteous.”
7 Now when the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance. My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
8 Nevertheless they will be his servants, that they may distinguish My service from the service of the kingdoms of the nations.”
9 So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, and took away the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house; he took everything. He also carried away the gold shields which Solomon had made.
10 Then King Rehoboam made bronze shields in their place, and committed them to the hands of the captains of the guard, who guarded the doorway of the king’s house.

The yoke and burden of the Lord is Good.

Jeremiah 5:4–5 (NKJV)
4 Therefore I said, “Surely these are poor. They are foolish; For they do not know the way of the Lord, The judgment of their God.
5 I will go to the great men and speak to them, For they have known the way of the Lord, The judgment of their God.” But these have altogether broken the yoke And burst the bonds.
being ignorant of the way God operation or work in our life can lead us to breaking the yoke that he has placed in our life.
Having learned what the burden of the Lord acomplishes in our life, we must not break the yoke nor run away from the burden of the lord.
Matthew 11:29–30 KJV 1900
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
That yoke teaches us something about the lord.
As we carry that yoke with lord, we learn something about the lord.
Philippians 3:10 “10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,”
The yoke cause us to be meek (sumbmissive) and lowly ( humble) in heart.
The people of israel as the carry the yoke and burden of the Lord in the wildernsee they learned to be humble and learned to be submissive to God.
Zephaniah 3:11–12 NKJV
11 In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds In which you transgress against Me; For then I will take away from your midst Those who rejoice in your pride, And you shall no longer be haughty In My holy mountain. 12 I will leave in your midst A meek and humble people, And they shall trust in the name of the Lord.
God does not want pridefull or arrognant people in his Kindgom
So through his yoke and burden he will teach us to be humble and meek (submissive) so that at the end only such a people are left in his Kingdom.

Conclusion.

Galatians 5:1 NKJV
