Chapter 1: 1-6. Intro.
Retune to me and I will return to you… says the Lord of host. Don’t be like your fathers that was judged for their disobedience. Return to me, not just physically but spiritually,
Chapter 1:6-17 (1).
God is in control, the earth is at rest, a cry for mercy on Jerusalem and God responds with gracious and comforting words: I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem, vs exceedingly angry at the nations, because the furthered the disaster of Gods people,
God said: I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy and my house shall be built in it and Jerusalem shall overflow with prosperity and the Lord will comfort and choose Jerusalem.

God will deal with the people’s enemies. (The nations that oppresses God’s people).
Chapter 2: 1-13 (3)
Jerusalem will be rebuilt and God will be its protection a wall of fire, also a call for the people still in exile to come to back to the land. God will judge the nations and will dwell with the people, and many nations will join them self to the Lord and shall be Gods people, the Lord will again choose Jerusalem. God is getting up from his throne to come do it…

Chapter 4 (5)
Cleansing of the governorship/kings – the completion of the temple. Not by power or might but by My Spirit said the Lord og hosts.
Chapter 5 (6-7)
There is no room for sin and law breaking in the cleansed land, and no idol worship and wickedness is removed.
Today. 6 1-8. (8) Peace in the north. God patrolling the earth and brining order his spirt to the north?
(The horses are back now with chariots). 4 chariots coming out from between to mountains of bronze, 1. Red, 2 black, 3 white, 4 spots, all strong horses. Zec asks what are they my lord?
Thies are going out to the 4 winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the lord of all the earth.
(Or spirts or winds – from God). Black goes North, and the white after them, and the dappled goes toward the South. As they come out, they are impatient to go patrol the earth, and he said Go patrol the earth, and they do. Then in verse 8. He cried out, Behold, those that went North, have set my Spirt at rest in the North country. Differnce from the chapter 1, it is now charioting that are made for War, God will now deal with his enemies in the North and then Peace will come. = to Jesus.
Summing up,
A call to repent, and turn to God… It is a beautiful invitation, to mend a broken relationship, with God, God had disciplined his people, 70 years for them choosing the curse and rejecting him. Now He had mercy on his people and called them back. (In our life, first repentance, and all after is invitation back to God, via Jesus by his Spirt, God can and will discipline us, to lead us back to him,)
Ultimate peace by the cross of Jesus Christ.
God judges his enemies, and Jesus will has won, but we are still here, awaiting his 2 coming, do we lose sight of God? Do we lose sight of his power and might, that he works by His Spirt?
God is faithful and does what he said, he would, therefore we can trust in God, to complete it all, we can put our hope and faith in Jesus as the true Brance, the one that be came the curse we chosen, the one who loved us and shed his blood so that we could be saved and cleansed,
What are the places in your soul you greatly rejoice over who God is? What are the places where you doubt God’s goodness?
What do you worship God for? What does Jesus’ mean? What about the Holy Spirt?
What does it all mean what did you God teach you in the first part of Zechariah?
Worship? Joy? Peace? Did it change your daily life? Why or why not? What did the Spirt do?
As we live in our Babylon, are we becoming native? Colonized by the culture or are we, by Gods Spirt bringing light in to darkness?
Bold? Fearless? Confident in Christ, trust in Gods promises, = Great joy, worship, compassion, and love.
Jesus is the hope for all the world, in Christ we have the best news ever, that gives meaning, brings joy even out of sorrow, the best wisdom of the world is foolishness in Gods eyes. (Take pysichs, astronomy, since in gernal – I belive in since. God would respond I made it all, the laws the matrieals. About realtionships, family, I made you all I know how you are made to live and function, read the maneule. The best any person has to offer is something God has made, and have a plan for, )
If we are in Christ, we carry the hope of the world in us, let’s share it, lets worship, lets, rejoice, that God is greater, Holy, mercy full -just,
Land the plane. All honer to you Lord Jesus.
