Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
Jacob Gives God Honor
A. Introduces his Family
B. Esau wants to travel with Jacob
C. Jacob doesn’t want to bother.
Perhaps Jacob sees that Esau still does not give honor to God and is distancing himself from him.

Jacob erected an alter and called it El-Elohe-Israel; El-Elohe-Israel means God, the God of Israel
