You leave church on Sunday morning and head home or out to eat. You get up the next morning and go to work, or tackle your hobbies, or work on making your home a little better each day. Next thing you know it’s Sunday again and you go to church. Then again, you take off and enjoy that lunch or free time at home.
At times, we can forget that being a follower of Christ is not only a relationship with Jesus, but also a relationship with other followers. We try to squeeze in everything we’ve wanted to say to our brothers and sisters all week into the few minutes before and after service. “I’ll tell him or her Sunday when I see them.” The joy and love we experience in each other’s company on Sunday can happen throughout the week if we try a little harder. If you’ve been away, go home. Rejoice with family.
