1. God Gave like You Gave

Would we have verses like John 3:16; James 1:17; 1 John 5:11?
We are commanded to give - 1 Cor.16:1-2
We are to give cheerfully – 2 Cor.9:6-7
It is an act a grace – 2 Cor.8:7
It is better to give than to receive – Acts 20:35
What if the rest of the members gave like you do? Could the work continue? Could we open our doors?

2. God Forgave Like You Forgive

Many folks like to hold grudges – hold mistakes of the past over people’s head
We are to forgive as God forgave us – Eph.4:32
Jesus said that we can’t be forgiven unless we forgive – Matt.6:14-15; Matt.18:21-35
God seeks to forgive – man sometimes forgives grudgingly – 2 Peter 3:9
Would any of us escape the fires of hell if God forgave like you forgive?

3. God Loved Like You Love

Would Rom.5:8 or 1 John 4:8 have been written?
We are commanded to love each other – Heb.13:1; 1 John 4:7, 20; John 13:34-35
Love is action, not emotion – 1 John 3:18
We don’t need to start saying that we love – we need to start showing it
What if God showed his love toward you like you show your love toward others?

4. We All Studied Like You Study

God lamented in Hosea’s day “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” – Hosea 4:6
God has always expected his people to know his will
Deut.5:1
Matt.11:28-29
Learning requires study – 2 Tim.2:15; 1 Tim.4:13
What if everyone studied the Bible like you do?
Would the church be stronger or weaker?

5. We All Murmured and Complained Like You Do

The Bible condemns murmuring and disputing as sin – 1 Cor.10:10; Phil.2:14
Some people complain about everything…
how money is spent? – the preacher makes too much? What we do around the building?
How long services are? Song leading? Preaching?
What if everyone complained like you? Could we have services for the racket or would murmuring stop?

6. We All Attended Like You Attend

It is a fact that not everyone attends as they should – even some here
We are commanded to attend – Heb.10:25
We should want to attend – Psalms 122:1
Serving God should be our first priority – Matt.6:33
What if everyone attended like you? Could we do away with some of our services? Would the building be full or empty if others attended like you?

7. We All Worshiped Like You Worship

Worship - the act of paying divine honors to the Supreme Being; or the reverence and homage paid to him
God seeks and desires our worship – John 4:23-24
Our attitude in worship is important –Eph.5:19
What if everyone worshiped like you do? Would our singing be louder and more enthusiastic? Would more respect be shown toward his word?
Would we have anyone to take the lead in worship?
