To understand the glory of Christ, we have to first understand glory generally and the glory of God specifically.
GLORY (כָּבוֹד, kavod, יְקָר, yeqar, δόξα, doxa)
connection between LIGHT and GLORY…
Isaiah 60:1 (NASB95)
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:19 (NASB95)
“No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor for brightness will the moon give you light; But you will have the Lord for an everlasting light, And your God for your glory.
Luke 2:32 (NASB95)
A Light of revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”
John 1:1–14 (NASB95)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (NASB95)
in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Corinthians 4:6 (NASB95)
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
Revelation 21:24 (NASB95)
The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.

connection between WEIGHT and GLORY…
2 Corinthians 4:17 (NASB95)
For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
-------------
Q. Is there a connection between LIGHT and WEIGHT or heaviness? Something like ‘the weight of light’?
note: the Hebrew word for glory (kavod) refers to weightiness
The Lexham Bible Dictionary Secular Usage
In a secular sense, the Hebrew word for “glory” (כָּבוֹד, kavod) primarily means “weight,” referring to something substantial (e.g., Isa 22:24).
Isaiah 22:24–25 (NASB95)
“So they will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, offspring and issue, all the least of vessels, from bowls to all the jars. “In that day,” declares the Lord of hosts, “the peg driven in a firm place will give way; it will even break off and fall, and the load hanging on it will be cut off, for the Lord has spoken.”
In Isaiah 17:4 the loss of glory equates to the loss of weight…
Isaiah 17:4 (NASB95)
Now in that day the glory of Jacob will fade, And the fatness of his flesh will become lean.
