I'm Ready Now

2 Timothy 4:6-8 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian Friends, Well Wishers, Saints of God and to this Bereaved Family, once again death has invaded the ranks of our Christian community.1. Our hearts are probably hurting over the loss of our dearly beloved moma member and mentor.

2. Our hearts as Christians are happy because we are keenly aware that the bible says “absent from the body for the Christian means she’s present with the Lord”.

And family, friends, members, and community leaders not to keep you too long here today, the best advice I can give at this time is that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal and turn this over to the Lord, and He will heal your heart because The Lord is a heart fixer and a mind regulator.

And I can imagine Kenyatta Victor saying to listen to me my beloved family,

I’ve changed my address to heaven

I’ve crossed the Great Divide where no traveler has ever returned

I know there’s no sorrow or crying because I’ve reached the other side.

I am so happy to be here, for the Lord Himself I see.

I’ve changed my address to Heaven, I bid this world goodbye.

I now live forever with Jesus in my new home in the sky.

I have no burdens or heartaches and from tears I am now free.

I’ve changed my address to Heaven, I’m safe forevermore.

For the Lord built a mansion and my name is on the door.

You can find us walking together, for where He is, I’ll always be. I’ve changed my address to Heaven,

What’s the address and I imagine her saying It’s 12 Gates to the City Hallelujah Avenue New Jerusalem, Heaven 77777.

She said Church I’ve changed! my address. Tootsie changed her address and church, it was a good change.

In fact heaven was the best change she ever made, and here’s why, she’s where Jesus is. She’s in a place where there’s No more pain, no more sickness, no more leg pains, no more heartaches,no more opposition , no more criticism, and no more disappointments. When we get to heaven all of that is over.

And listen to what Jesus said in John 14 Let not your heart be troubled ye believe in God believe also in me that in my Father’s house are many mansions. I go to prepared a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also.

Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people and your heart got to be right.

Let not your heart be troubled.

Saints of God Your heart got to be right.

Tell your neighbor: that your heart got to be right.

Heart in the Greek vernacular is the word Kardia. Kardia is a medical term cardiology and the expert who treats our heart is called a cardiologist or the heart doctor. In this case Jesus is the heart doctor because it’s a spiritual matter. You’ve got to get your business right with God. You’ve got to have the right relationship with The Lord.
