All the Pharisees said salvation is centered on the “doing.”

Jesus’ invitation centers on coming to the one who has fulfilled the doing.

Jesus’ invitation is to those who are exhausted and burdened down.

“Take”

This deals with you receiving Jesus by faith.

“Yoke” has to do with a rabbi’s teachings. Jesus taught grace will religion taught works.

“take my yoke” has to do with becoming a disciple. Learn what Jesus has to say.

“Easy”

Jesus’ teaching is best tailored for our lives and needs.

“Learn”

This is a step into a process of learning more about Jesus.
