Luke 9:23 (KJV) 23  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
DENY HIMSELF: Whatever iniquities that one feels he or she was born with.Hebrews 12:1 (KJV) 1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Not only deny but TAKE UP HIS CROSS              :
: It has to die, DAILY to what we were born, so that we can follow after what we were created. THIS IS THE JOURNEY BACK TO WHAT WE WERE CREATED.
We first must realize that what we were created cannot and will not EVER, EVER, EVER, be yoked together with what we were born. I believe that this is the reason that we were separated from the garden in the beginning, so that the very essence of what God had created in perfection, would not become entangled and yoked up with what man had become in sin. What man had become, was void of the knowledge of the man that God created, and had no inkling of how to keep God's creation.
EVEN WHEN WE ARE BORN AGAIN; not according to Adam but according to the spirit of what we were created, SEPARATION HAS TO BE ESTABLISHED.     2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV) 14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Chapter: THE SAME DOUGH
The confusion or the misnomer of the belief that what we were born and what we were created is one and the same.
We were created in perfection or in the image of God
BORN IN SIN SHAPEN IN INIQUITY
The scipture states in Psalm 51:5 (KJV) 5  Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
When I was a child I remember my mom baking cookies. She had this cookie pan that had about 12 compartments however each compartment of the cookie pan had a dfferent shape. One compartment was shaped like a star, another like a half moon, another like a heart, another like diamond, a triangle, and even though I do not remember all of the different shapes, each compartment had a shape of it's own.
Whenever my mother would get the cookie pan out, some of us would immediately began to lay claim on the shape we liked the best. For it seemed to us that some shapes tasted better than the other shapes. So to keep peace she had more than one cookie pan plus she would bake more than one batch so that everyone could grab the shape that they thought taste the best. She could make some with the same shape but a different kind of icing or topping. So then we could not only choose the shape, but we could choose what we wanted it look and taste like on the outside.
Mom would then make this great big roll of cake dough and she would carefully put this dough into each one of these compartments and bake them and each one came out shaped like the compartment that it was cooked in. One like a heart, another like a triangle, another like a star, and so on according to the compartment shape that it was prepared in. And even though we were given the shape we DESIRED, with the topping that we liked,  it was ALL conceived from the SAME DOUGH.
I believe that even though we are shapened in different forms of iniquity, that which we seem to DESIRE the most. Heb 12:1 talks about that ...sin that so easily beset us... and that even though we are shapen or compartmenalized in iniquity or that personal DESIRE that constantly challenges us, we were all conceived from the same dough of sin.  So let us not forget that no matter what shape our sin has taken on, and no matter what topping we put on it, it all came from the same dough.
1 John 5:17 (KJV) 17  All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.Romans 3:23 (KJV) 23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Adam gets the credit for how we are born. Romans 5:12 (KJV) 12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: CHAPTER: EVEN THE WORD COULDN'T CHANGE THE WORD:  When we have dificulty with changing or overcoming our wretchedness, we challenge and attempt to change the concept God's righteousness. So we end up struggling with ourselves. The greatest battles we have is when we are fighting against ourselves, me against myself. The battle is really fierce because me and myself are so equally equipped. Myself is as strong as me. Me knows as much as myself. Myself has as much wisdom as me. This battle is so fierce because what we were created is demanding that what we were born must die. We see the most extreme example of this in Mat 26:36-46 when the WORD was struggling with the WORD. I believe that it was the intensity of this battle that Jesus said to the disciples to wait here while I alone go there. I believe that the atmosphere of this struggle was so charged that the disciples would not have been able to endure the environment. This battle of the WORD struggling with the WORD was so intense that the scripture states in the Luke 22:44  that His sweat was like great drops of blood. The scipture Mathew finds him talking to the Father, but the Father never answered. And I also believe that the reason He never answered was because the Father was assured that He already KNEW WHAT TO DO, and that he would eventually DO WHAT HE KNEW. For Jesus already knew that what he was born had to die. So we hear Jesus saying NEVERTHELESS NOT MY WILL BUT THY WILL BE DONE. Even the WORD couldn't change the WORD. There comes a time in our lives that we have to deny ourselves, ( OR THAT THING and be willing to die daily to what we were born and follow after THE EXPRESS IMAGE of what we were created.   Luke 9:23 (KJV) And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Matthew 26:39 (KJV) 39  And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. A. It was not even possible for the only begotten son to change the word which HE Himself had written. Revelation 22:18-19 (KJV) 18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Mark 8:34 (KJV) 34  And when HE ( THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF GOD, WHO HAD RECEIVED HIS CROWN, UNDERSTOOD THAT THE CROWN WAS NOT FOR WHAT WE WERE BORN.), had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever WILL come after ME, ( OR WHOSEVER'S WILL IS TO GET BACK TO WHAT THEY WERE CREATED) let him deny himself, (WHAT U WERE BORN) and take up his cross, (BECAUSE WHAT U WERE BORN HAS TO BE CRUCIFIED) and follow me. (FOR I ALONE KNOW WHERE YOUR CROWN IS, AND IT'S WAITING FOR WHAT U WERE CREATED).James 1:12 (KJV) 12  Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: ( OR BLESSED ID THE MAN WHO REALIZES THAT HIS CROWN IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF HIS CROSS), for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 1 Corinthians 15:31 (KJV) 31  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I DIE DAILY. ( I DIE TO WHAT I WAS BORN SO THAT I MIGHT BECOME MORE AND MORE LIKE I WAS CREATED.)
