2 Corinthians 10:1–6 NASB 2020
1 Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent! 2 I ask that when I am present I need not be bold with the confidence with which I intend to be courageous against some, who regard us as if we walked according to the flesh. 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying arguments and all arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 6 and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

The Apostle’s Woe (Fighting With The Church) vs 1-2

Calling out the Apostle (Leadership)
Calling out the Fellowship of Believers (Collective body)

The Apostles Warning (Our fight is different) Vs. 3

You can’t fight what is seen, but what is unseen which means the people you see are not the visible enemies you have. (Its what is behind the scenes that we encounter)
Romans 8:6–7 NASB 2020
6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so,
Ephesians 6:16–17 NASB 2020
16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:12 NASB 2020
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Our Personal Weakness Vs. 4a (Has hope) (4b)

We fight recklessly and with ignorance
Not with our mouth
Not with our hands
Not with our feet
Not with our influence
Not with our resources
Not with our connections
But through God we can pull down stronghold/demolish powerful fortresses
Know that the devil has lied to you.
John 8:44 NASB 2020
44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.
Know that you have been distracted by people closest to you called “Brethren”
Know that you have become comfortable being lied too, deceived, and betrayed
1 Peter 5:8 NASB 2020
8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Know that he’s looking for people who has inward predispositions to rebel against God.
James 1:14 NASB 2020
14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.
1 John 2:16 NASB 2020
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Work together
Defeating all arguments against the faith
Defeating all arrogance (Prideful Institutions)
Fight to the glory of God together
Taking captive the lies from every thought to the obedience of Christ
Your past doesn’t define your present and future
Your problems are a comma not a period to the sentence of your life
Your power to defeat the lies of the devil lies in the ability to trust God word as true and his power within us to destroy the yoke of bondage.
Your fellow brother next to you is not your enemy (If truly in Christ)
Your Acceptance, Security, and Significance matters to God which means I’m valuable to him for HIs purpose.

The Work of finishing the fight

Exposing the foolish things and People to those things that resists the authority of Christ
This can only be done when we are mature enough to stand strong in Christ to call out and defeat the divisive things in the Church of God.
