Now do you remember that in the Bible where God tells you to worry about how your friends will feel if you don’t get them good Christmas gifts? Or the part where God says, make sure you worry about your neighbors lawn. They really should cut it. Or perhaps, make sure you stress out when you can no longer afford Starbucks because of the economy. Do you remember those verses? No why not?
Because they aren’t there.
God repeatedly tells His people, 2 words. 2 words so basic that we don’t believe them. So simple, a bird could do it, but the wisest human cannot pull it off.
Fear Not!
Now God doesn’t say this, to troll you and I, It is not sarcasm. He doesn’t say, “Fear Not”, because:
the world is perfect, News flash, it's not.
you won’t have any problems, In fact God promises you will have problems.
you will be able to handle it all. You won’t and cannot.
you will have perfect health. that largely depends on how we eat. but in this culture we have lots of healthy problems.
You might say, pastor, if those things are true, why on earth would God tell us not to fear.
Because my friends:
The world may not be perfect, Be He Is!
There will be trails, but , He has overcome them all.
You may not be able lift the world, but there is no need too, because Jesus never let it go.
Your health may come and go, but last time I checked, Jesus was still our healer!
So when He says, Fear not. He not saying. you have it under control.
He is saying, I have this. Rest in me!
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Cast your burden on the Lord.
Cast your burden on the Lord.
That is the answer! Give it to Jesus!
So we no the answer
Jesus said in Matthew 6.
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
But see you you and I can know that is true, and not have an ounce of it touch our broken hearts: Did you know that?
Knowledge will not, and cannot save you. Many believers, are chanting mantras and scriptures trying to find peace. Trying to lift that burden.
Raise your hand today if you have ever created a burden by trying to alleviate a burden.
Jesus essentially, is saying, the birds get it, you should be able to as well.

That will hit your pride. those disgusting pigeons have more than we do.
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
How is it that Blood bought Christians have less faith than birds? Wells birds don’t have the Sin nature as we do. They are free to simply trust that God will provide
The first step for us would be to return to the father and as for faith. Build my trust in you.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
If you want to rise above Pigeon faith, it begins in the Word of God. Increase faith and trust is for every believer, but it is only attained one way. Throw the Word of God.
Why am I so wrapped up in fear? Well are you reading your Bible? NO, but I watched 12 hours of TV. Well there is your problem. You are eating spiritual poison as opposed to spiritual Health.
So many are walking through very hard times right now. As we have opened the food pantry during the week, I’ve been able to meet and pray with many people, and the story is the same, everything is expensive, Idk how I am going to make it. I’m scared.

Jesus was ministering one day, when a man brought his boy up to Jesus that was demon possessed.
And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.” And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.” And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” And Jesus said to him, “ ‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
This Boy was demon possessed. and He needed a miracle. The Disciples were unable to heal him, so they bring the boy and his father to Jesus. When the Demon see Jesus, he seizes the boy. the Boys father and Jesus begin a conversation, because the boy is having a seizure.
How long has this been happening?
His whole life. since he was a little kid. It often tries to kill him. If you can do anything Jesus, have compassion on us.
“Anything? Don’t you know all things are possible, for anyone who believes.”

I believe! I will say, whatever I have to to see my child healed. I believe!
You can imagine Jesus patiently looking at the many. His son still having a seizure. The Holy Holy Spirit begins to move.
Then man is convicted. OK, I don’t. Help my unbelief.”
Closing
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
you see the problem many of us have, is that we cry “I Believe!” when what we really mean is, “I will say whatever you want me to to get what I want!”
Merely saying, I believe, doesn’t change anything, you must not just believe it. you must know it!
Now Jesus had compassion on this man and he healed his son.
Now, He didn’t heal him because his faith was great, because it wasn’t.
It wasn’t because he was good, because he wasn’t.
It wasn’t because he had earned it. because he hadn’t.
No! The Entire reason, was because, Jesus had great faith, was Good, and magnificent.
Jesus words,
And Jesus said to him, “ ‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
Fear Not. All things are Possible For God. Just Trust Me!
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
The Mans response, is essentially. Help me trust you.
Jesus then rebukes the spirit, heals the boy and he goes on his way.
