2. “What can you do?”

Psalm 11:3 (NKJV)
3 If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?
You can witness. the truth as it worked in your life.
Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
We are called to be Holy
Ephesians 5:8 (NKJV)
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
Acts 11:26 (NKJV)
26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
the devil is the father of lies and the accuser of the brethren.
John 8:44 (NKJV)
44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Revelation 12:10 NKJV
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

3. “Let the River Flow”

Ezekiel 47:1–2 NKJV
1 Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. 2 He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side.
Get back in His presence.
Your Body is the temple.
Bishop thought Not Dr. Pitner: the presence is both corporate and personal. Neither is a replacement for the other. Corporate is when we gather together as a Church or Congregation, Personal of course is what you are called to do on your own:
Personal worship and meditation.
Prayer and intersession: prayer you pray for yourself, and make sure you are praying for yourself. intercession is prayer that you pray dor others.
Bible reading. journaling is a good idea here.
Some type of Ministry or service.
it’s free for all who will come.
Some people will only go ankle deep: its enough to cool your feet, Stir up mud but not enough to change anything.
Ezekiel 47:3 NKJV
3 And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles.
Ezekiel 47:4 NKJV
4 Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist.
Then we go knee deep. this is where God begins to deal with you.
you cant move as easily in the things of the flesh as you used to.
the waste man can swim but he is still in control.
waste deep teaches you how to use the current.
Ezekiel 47:5 NKJV
5 Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.
now we are in faith because we have to trust God.
you have to go with the flow.
Ezekiel 47:6 NKJV
6 He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river.
Son of man have you seen this? The Lord took Him back to the bank.
Get your eyes on this!
you have to trust God.
some of us are facing things we are not going to cross over in our own strength.
Prayer is the entrance to the river.

Mary Had a little Lamb

Are we too busy for Jesus ?

Three fundamental steps

1. Relationship with Jesus.

We get to know Jesus by reading His word.
Jesus God in the flesh.
John 3:16–17 NKJV
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
We Maintain relationship with God by reading His word.
He didn't understand it.
Matthew 13:19 NKJV
19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
Jesus suffered through His temptations so that He could be empathetic to us.
Matthew 4. was led into the dessert to be tempted.
Hebrews 2:18 NKJV
18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Satan went after Jesus after the left the wilderness to tempt him three more times. when Jesus overcame Satan left Jesus till a more opportune time.
If satan Left Jesus for a “more opportune time he will do the same for you. He will leave and come back at a more opportune time:
two times are good for satan: 1. when things are good 2. when things are bad.

2. Submit your self to God.

James 4:7 NKJV
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
give up desires of self
flesh
selfish hopes and wants and submit
make a choice to fallow God.
when we give into the flesh we partner with satan.
Western Language that we use to soften reality. “urge” replaces temptation.
say what it is its a temptation. when i walk away and do what I wanted to do I partner with the enemy.
Submit, Resist, He will flee.
stop relying on your own strength rely Jesus.

3. Walk in obedience to God.

the steps are in the order they are for a reason.
John 14:15 NKJV
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.
John 14:21 NKJV
21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
walking with Jesus is not alway going to be the most popular thing to do.
I had to change on thing before I could do that, every thing.
We have a fear of man that keeps us from obeying God. obeying God is not the easiest thing to do, nor is it the most comfortable thing to do.
Acts 8: Phillips obedience.

I prophesy that wickedness in your life is coming to an end in Jesus’ name.
“Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.” - Psalms 7:9 NKJV
