“Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full’ ” (Luke 14:23, NIV).
In the parable of the great supper, the master stressed the need for going into “roads and country lanes.” In town and country, in city and suburb, there is a great opportunity for presenting the gospel in such an attractive manner that the hearers will want to attend church to hear more about the Savior.
The master in the parable described the kinds of people who could be reached in town and country: the poor, the crippled, the blind; that is, all needy people.
