Start to Finish (Hosea 9)

When is a race or a game called?

God punishes the unfaithfulness of his people. (1-9)

The people had chosen to forsake God.

Can’t pretend you didn’t do it

We cannot hide our unfaithfulness from God

We can remain faithful to God.

God knew the initial faithfulness of his people (10-17)

The unfaithfulness of the Israelites was in spite of what God had done for them as His people.

Started off good

How we start is not as important as how we finish.

We can finish well.

We can endure till the end in our faith in Christ.
