PETITION: A request or appeal made to a powerful God./Petition” is the language of the court.

The action of petitioning God usually follows a trouble of some kind.

Then we go to God asking to take the trouble away. Not knowing why it showed up in the first place.

Romans 12:1

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

This must be followed even in sickness and health. There is no days off .

Ask yourself what problem/ ‘s keep me petitioning God, and how do I see my problems

James is a man who sees opportunity in problems/trials

if we don’t see it right we live with the mindset that I am losing everything, and gaining nothing

sometime we go through things and we take a position of anger, and our will drives us away from God. Don’t let your will guide you away.

Side note:(God don’t fright your, so you stop fighting them to.)

So When you go to God you must believe. That makes one right standing with God.

something that causes distress or irritation—often used in the phrase thorn in one’s side

2 Corinthians 12:7-9

Rich

James 5:16

16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Prayer is not mechanical or magical. It is an appeal to an infinitely wise, loving, and powerful heavenly Father.

And God says that his grace is..

Rich is having an abundant’s of something. Which means more than enough.
