Losing isn’t fun. I loved when Can Newton, after being talked about for being a sore loser, said “show me a good loser and I’ll show you a loser”. Some people are more competative than others, for sure. It doesn’t have to be athletics or sports. It can be any type of competition. Who is going to get the raise at work? Who is going to be employee of the month? Who is going to make honor role? Who is going to be first to get married? Who is going to be the last to get married? Who has the nicest lawn on the block? And I could go on, but you get the picture. We compete, and often times ins unhealthy.
Board games. I’ve been accused of cheating. I don’t cheat I can just come up with some creative ways of winning that the rules didn’t mention.
But, if you had the chance, to win, would you chose the losing side. In this world I look at the condition of it, and the church and I see that people chose to lose.
(Historical Context of OT victorious God)

Your Confession shouldn’t outweigh your Character

They say all the right things. But God knows our heart.

Jesus doesn’t need our help, We need God’s

Jesus has a cross to carry that only he can carry. And because he alone can carry it, we should take our hand off of it. Salvation belongs to God. You can’t save anyone.
