Dear Heavenly Father,
As we conclude our members' meeting, we again come before You with hearts full of gratitude and hope.
We thank you for the blessings and your faithfulness as we look back.
Thank You for the guidance You've granted us as we've discussed our proposed Elders, Elder Canidates, Deacons, interns and Pastors. We pray for wisdom and discernment in decisions we need to make going forward, knowing that Your hand will lead and mold us as your beloved church in service to Your kingdom.
Lord, as we reflect on the year gone by and look forward to the one ahead, grant us the faith and trust to understand Your plans for us, to learn from our past and to approach the future with confidence in what you already did for us on the cross.
Lord, as we reflect on Psalm 73 and the wonderful message from this morning we will continue with Asaph to ask
“Who do I have in heaven but you? And we desire nothing on earth but you. Our flesh and hearts may fail, but you God is the strength of our hearts, our portion forever. Those far from you will certainly perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you. But as for us God, your presence is for our good. We have made you Lord God our refuge, so please help us to tell others about all you did, and still will do for us.”
We lift up to You the Redlands Church Plant. May it be a beacon of Your love and light in the community, and may the seeds we will God willingly sown there grow and flourish under Your watchful eye.
We thank you for the ministry update Rhoi gave us, and we pray that the ministry hand-overs that will happen over the next couple of months, as well as the introduction of new Deacons and Elders, we seek Your wisdom and we pray for unity. May these transitions be smooth, fostering growth and deepening our collective commitment to the gospel and your church.
In times of change and new beginnings, draw us closer together, aligning our hearts and minds to Your purpose. Remind us always that while we may have different roles and responsibilities, we are one body in Christ, working together for Your glory.
Bless each member of this congregation, Lord. Keep us rooted in Your word, united in our mission, and fervent in our love for You and one another.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
