Joshua 6:24
Joshua 6:24
The Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted things.
Unfaithful means to violate one’s legal obligations, treacherously....faithless,
Actually one Israelite was disobedient.
He was overcome with desire when he saw silve, gold, and a Babalonian garment lying in the rubble of Jericho.
It is one thing to be drawn to a shinny object, an item of desire, an item of obvious wealth and value. To be so overcome with greed and selfishness that all directions from God, spoken through Joshua, the general, the leader, God’s appointed, are forgotten.
