A. When you talk about rock solid faith few stand out more than Rahab.
i) She lived in a pagan city
ii) She lived a pagan life
iii) She was doomed to a pagan death
iv) Her faith in the Lord changed every thing
B. Rahab’s Faith changed her Life
i) If your faith has not changed your life it is time to change your faith
ii) 1 Corinthians 6:9–11 “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”

i) Similar to Phillip and the Eunich
ii) Jesus meeting with the woman at the well

A. She had a personal knowledge of the the Lord
i) Joshua 2:9 “and said to the men: “I know that the Lord has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you.”
B. She had a powerful knowledge of the Lord
C. She had a persuasive kmoweledge of the Lord
i) Her Faith led to action
ii) James 2:25 “Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?”

A. Her faith changed her life
i) Joshua 2:18–19 “unless, when we come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household to your own home. So it shall be that whoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him.” “unless, when we come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household to your own home.”

Hebrews 9:22 “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.”
