When are we most likely to let our guard down?

The people fell into sin in times of plenty. (1-10)

The people had been prosperous, and had resorted to sinfulness.
Idle mind is the devil’s workshop
When we are the best off is when we are often the most tempted.
We can be cautious when things are going good.

The people reap what they sow. (11-15)

If the people sowed righteousness they would reap it, but instead they reap the consequences of their sins.
Get what you deserve.
We will face the consequences of our own decisions, whether good or bad.
We can choose to live in a way that honors God’s plan.
We can live for the Lord, even in times of plenty.
