Romans 10:9–10 NKJV

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We believe in our heart.

The heart is both the Spirit and the soul.

Tripartite vs Bipartite

1 Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Religion works from the outside in.

The New Birth works from the inside out.

The #1 Attack on faith is Identity.

The Born Again believer is God-Breathed. His spirit is new now by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We are now the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19 AMP

Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,

The Tabernacle was tripartite: Holy of Holies, Holy Place, and Outer Court. 3 is the Number for Harmony or Agreement

Outer Court represents Body

Bronze Sea, Altar of Sacrifice, and Sacrifice

Holy Place represents Soul

Table of Shewbread, Menorah, and Altar of Incense

Menorah represents the mind- Illumination from God’s Word

Table of Shewbread represents emotions- 12 loaves are 12 tribes of Israel. Security, Sustenance, and Satisfaction.

Altar of Incense represents the will- Prayer (Closest to God’s Presence)

Holy of Holies represents Spirit

The Three Parts of your Spirit are:

Conscious, Intuition, and Fellowship

The Three parts of Holy of Holies- Veil, Ark of the Covenant, and Presence of God

Three Parts of Ark- Aaron’s Rod that budded, Pot of Manna, and Stone Tablets

Conscious

Hebrews 9:9 NKJV

It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience—

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Fellowship

John 4:24 NKJV

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

1 John 1:3 NKJV

that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

The Soul is the limiting factor of the Heart.

Must be renewed through repetition.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
