Redemption

From the tearing of the veil in two until today the Kingdom of God has had unfettered access to the Father, through Jesus Christ. That is an undisputed fact. If I was to give this quick walk through the word a name it would be “Redeemed for Fire”
Let’s walk to 1 Peter 1:18–20 “For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb. He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was revealed in these last times for you.”
Jesus the Christ paid the price for you to be here tonight. For those of you who have not fully accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior He ALSO paid the price. Got It? GOOD!
Coming into tonight I started thinking about what would be the focus of tonight and he whispered to me REDEMPTION.
He spoke so vividly. He said I paid for your life, I was the ransom paid for your life and future. This means I OWN YOU. I paid the ultimate price and I can use you at my leisure at any appointed time for my will to be made manifest, or for my will to happen on Earth.
The thing is that after Mt. Sinai and the tablets of the law we weren’t given the luxury of having things paid for in full, outside of salvation, any more. So in this transaction of life the uses that God has in the Kingdom are not paid in full, but come at a reduced price to us.
I come to introduce something we all know of. A coupon.
A coupon is a piece of paper that can be used to get something without paying for it, or at a reduced price.
