King James Version Chapter 33

And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it: 2 And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: 3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

God promised this land to the children of Israel. you would think they would be all over it but no when they saw giants standing in there way they doubted God.

I don’t understand why they doubt God. It says so clearly In the text he will send an angel before them to protect them against these Giants standing in there way.

At some point in your walk with God you will doubt him. You will second guess him and think this trail is too big for you. Numbers 11; 23 And the Lord said unto Moses, Is the Lord's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. As human beans we have fear taught to us. it is a learned trait. Fear is a lot easer to get a hold of than faith. Gods hand is not waxed short means he has no limits he is the all powerful God still in this day and age. Ik its easy to look at todays world and think there no hope for us. We can get so intune with the world we become blind of what God has promised us.

Duetronomy 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

We get so wrapped up in media that we forget that our God is jealous over me and you. Ik for a fact that Lebron isn’t jealous when I miss a game. But ik God is when I forget to talk With him. Let God speak to you about some promise he wants you to do.

This brings me back to our text. God has promised you something but it just wont be handed to you. You’ll have to fight for it. Do you want it? Or is it too hard too scary. I get it I was called to preach and I didn’t want it. I was scared of messing it all up. I ran so fast and so far but here am I. i can say its a blessed life. The fear that comes with a promise or should I say the faith that comes with a promise.

God will show you himself if you tune into him. Turn off all the distractions and tune into him. God will revival some promises on your life. He will show you his will. This promise won’t happen today or tomorrow or next week maybe not even five years. God promised me some things they have not yet came to pass but in this time you have to be faithful. Back to Due 5:9 he is jealous when we don’t put time into him so why should he let that promise come to past? ( talk about it)

Put in the time (breath) create a foundation with God. A walk with God is a walk of faith. There are going to be giants in your way when you are going to your promise. Going throw the will of God there will be test, there will be times you want to give up. But you have to remember God is my savor and he did it for Israel he will do it for me.

We still serve the same God that parted the Red Sea so his people could make it out of Egypt You are going to make it. If you haven’t been faithful to him you haven’t been working on that promise today is the day to start crafting start letting God mold you to be the person of that promise.

I wish I could say its easy but its not but living for God is Good its blessed. May not see it rn but he will bless you. I remember times at my dorm not knowing if I could push on but he give me that word in chapel or that song on Sunday morning. He will push you and thats what you need let him mold you.
