John 7:37-39
God provides us with the water of life.
The Holy Spirit’s chief function is to illuminate Jesus’ teaching--to glorify His person and to work in the life of the individual believer and the church.
Ever present help in time of need.
The Lord wants us to build character so we can be what He called us to be.
He wants us to be built up in Him.He wants us to lean on Him and not a faulty temporary fix that tears us down.
We can’t hear His voice if we are distracted all the time.
He wants to be the Lord of our lives, but will never force us to put Him #1.
We are not our own God.
He wants to be the source of our strength.
He makes us sensitive to the needs of others.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
He wants us to lean totally on Him in all things.
He fills us with the fruit of joy in our trials.
There is no one better under pressure than Him.
We must come to the point that we put our total trust in Him, in His Word.
He’s got our lives in His hand.
