INTRODUCTION:
In this Thanksgiving season, we have many gifts from God that we can be thankful for. There is one gift that surpasses all others. The apostle Paul speaks of this gift in our text. In 2 Cor. 9:15, Paul writes, “Χάρις τῷ θεῷ ἐπὶ τῇ ἀνεκδιηγήτῳ αὐτοῦ δωρεᾷ.”
ἀνεκδιηγήτῳ = That which cannot be fully related or communicated—‘indescribable, beyond words.’
χάρις τῷ θεῷ ἐπὶ τῇ ἀνεκδιηγήτῳ αὐτοῦ δωρεᾷ ‘let us thank God for his gift which cannot be described with words’
What makes this gift so amazing?
Jesus also spoke of this gift in John 3:16.
Jesus gave us the details about this wonderful gift which Paul had difficulty describing to the Corinthians.
Notice three things that can help us appreciate God’s wonderful gift… that can help us to be thankful at thanksgiving...

1. Hymn lyrics:
"Grace That Is Greater Than All Our Sin"
Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt,
yonder on Calvary's mount outpoured,
there where the blood of the Lamb was spilt.
Dark is the stain that we cannot hide,
what can avail to wash it away!
Look! there is flowing a crimson tide;
whiter than snow you may be today.
Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
freely bestowed on all who believe:
you that are longing to see his face,
will you this moment his grace receive?
Refrain:
Grace, grace, God's grace, grace that will pardon and cleanse within; grace, grace, God's grace, grace that is greater than all our sin.

"I Surrender All"
All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
Refrain:
I surrender all, I surrender all; All to Thee, my blessed Savior, I surrender all.
