Miraculous results that come from God’s Grace

Colossians 1:27-29

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

Can you think of a time when you experienced a miracle that you had no control of and could only have come from God’s grace?

Colossians 2:9-12

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

Is there something that you realize you can do now that you never thought you were capable of doing, or is there something you do now that you once were very uncomfortable doing? That is God’s grace working a miracle in your life.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

If our citizenship is actually in heaven, then how does that change, or does it, our approach to decisions as citizens of this world, country, locality?

Miracles come in all shapes and sizes

This is a gift which requires discernment because Satan can imitate these

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie

How can we discern God’s miracle verses Satan’s?

The ultimate miracle is helping someone else to turn their hearts to God

2 Timothy 1:6-9

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

So if a miracle is God’s power(energy) working through the grace he has demonstrated in you, how can you bring a miracle to someone else?
