Why Church? The Church isa Family of Ministers! (Phillippians 1:3-8)
It is a great privilege to be able to share together in the things of God and to minister to each other. The church - more specifically, the weekly assembly r gathering of God’s people - is vitally important becase the church is a family of ministers who:
- pray for one another (Phil 1:3, 4),
-serve God together (Phil 1:5,7),
- trust in God’s sovereign working in one another (Phil 1:6),
- partake together of God’s grace (Phil 1:7),
- demonstrate heartfelt affection for one another (Phil 1:8).
All of these elements require that we actively engage one another through weekly church attendance so that we can be actively involved in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ!
