Ephesians 4:29  When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger. Then what you say will do good to those who listen to you. 30 And do not make the Holy Spirit sad. The Spirit is God’s proof that you belong to him. God gave you the Spirit to show that God will make you free when the final day comes. 31 Do not be bitter or angry or mad. Never shout angrily or say things to hurt others. Never do anything evil. 32 Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

The way We Ought to Live.

The Way We Could Live.

The Way We Would Live.

The Way we Should Live.

1. Living in the Light the Christian Soldier ought to have on the whole armor of God.And when folk see you coming they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are not only a child of God but a warrior for Christ. Because Proverbs 22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. Brothers and sisters we’re supposed to shine brightly, Our name has to be good wherever we go. This little light of mine I’m going to let to shine. Paul said walk in the light as christ is in the light. Listen to me closely You’re going walk like who you belong too.”

My Grandmother used to say let me see who you hang around with and I’ll tell you who you are. Point 1.The Way We Ought To Live. The bible says don’t live like people who are not saved, because you send the wrong signal…Look at verse Ephesians 4:17  In the Lord’s name, I tell you this. Do not continue living like those who do not believe. Their thoughts are worth nothing.

The way we ought to live is that we are responsible Christian people. Say Amen.

Our lives must reflect that we are a children of God.The NCV says in Ephesians 4:13  This work must continue until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God. We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ and have his perfection.

We must prove to the world that we are soldiers of the Cross. The way we ought to live. “Alright 3x What does it look like when you have a two year old playing with a gun. or a ten years pointing a gun and pulling the trigger. Wait nah he has the equipment for war but the heart and mind is not matured enough to handle that kind of hardware and as a result a tragic accident occurs.

Listen to me when you say you’re a warrior for Christ you better make sure you’re exhibiting the right kind of behavior because if not, If you’re carelessly going through life and people are looking up to you as if you’re a ministry standard and you’re acting like a regular heathen What a shame!

And when you say I’m a Preacher at my church, I’m a Deacon at my church, I’m a Deaconess at my church, I’m an Usher at my church, I’m a choir member at my church I’m a member of Shiloh MBC in Port Allen.

And they say Whatttttt. They way you act, I didn’t think you belong to nobody’s church.

Point 2. The Way We Could Live. We could live in a utopia society. We could live to the glory of God. But I imagine that It must be hard. Because only a few were close enough to God to not die, and just be taken away up into heaven. The book of Genesis says that Enoch walked with God for 365 years and God just took him to heaven. Then the bible says that Elijah was taken up to heaven on an tornado the bible says on a fire chariot in a whirlwind. And Brothers and sisters the point is 2x the bible is telling us that we could live a better life and in actuality we know we could live better. Amen.

Point 3.The Way We Would Live

Rev I would live like you’re saying but Pastor that lifestyle that some Christians try to live is a boring dry lifestyle. I understand it well because all kind of stuff interfere with our lives.

That’s why the scripture say in Philippians 2:5“Let this mind be in you which is in Christ Jesus”. Because if your mind is on God If your mind is on the Jesus then He’ll keep us in perfect peace. Anybody want peace today?

Also if you keep you mind on Jesus you won’t mind the things of the flesh. The book of Proverbs say in the 25th chapter and the 28th verse He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

God designed mankind with the ability to make a choice. Good or Evil, Right or Wrong, Sinister or Saintly, Pious or perverted. We have a choice.

Tell your neighbor: We have a choice. We have two options, either option one or option two. And as I researched I discovered the word (By Fur Kate)Bifurcate.

To (By Fur Kate)Bifurcate in terms of the scripture means to divide into two branches or two different parts. 2x. From a spiritual prospectus By Fur Kate means that my spirit man can choose salvation or eternal damnation. And and and The more I read, I more I realize that we can’t have it both ways. Tell your neighbor :You Can’t have it both ways

I’m saved on Sunday but I raise hell on Monday Because the bible says in

James 1:8 that “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways”. Yea 3x.

You’ve got to be sure about your relationship with the Lord.

Because Proverbs 16:25 tell me that there is a way that seemeth right to a man but the ends thereof are the ways unto death.

From a Global view “I don’t want the known civilized world to be on the brink of world war III”. It’s got bad actors on both sides of this current conflict and my prayer is “Lord have mercy.”

Tell your neighbor : You got to make a choice about The Way I would live

On every level we have to make choices. In our homes on our jobs in our churches in our communities in our cities in our states in our nations and in our world, we have to make clear cut decisions about our future.

We can not have ( By Fur kating)Bifurcating views on life.

The Lord said teach this word and my word will compel and command the listener to make a choice.

And and and Allen when you teach, talk, and tell them what thus said the Lord do it in love. Because Ephesians 4:29  When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger. Then what you say will do good to those who listen to you.

I’ve said a long time ago I’d rather you throw me a rope instead of giving me an ice cream cone while the bridge I’m on is burning down, and I’m about to drop a 1,000 feet to my death. Throw me a rope Pastor. Give us a word from God to save us. Because Proverbs 27:17 teaches us that “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend”. Teach Me Pastor Yeah 3x because

Ephesians 4:29  says “When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger. Then what you say will do good to those who listen to you.

Then there is Point 4 The way we should Live In verse 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Tell your neighbor: Don’t make God mad with you.

We have to be cognizant of our actions.

Point 4 The Way we Should Live. We should live in such a way that God is pleased with us. king Solomon made God mad and sad with how bad he behaved. It is possible to grieve the Holy,Spirit. Listen King Solomon had married 700 women and then he had 300 concubines along with them. So that made Solomon gave 1,000 gorgeous women at his disposal. It seems Ideal men but there’s a problem with it. From his own words watch this Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. In the end Solomon was sick of all that. I know because King Solomon had to write in Proverbs 25 :24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.

But why Rev? How could you be sick of all them pretty women? The answer comes back like this. Solomon married all of those foreign women who believed in different false gods that the Israelites didn’t believe in. And quite naturally Solomon had the motto happy wife happy life. So Solomon built pagan temples in honor of the different wives from the different countries and God was sad about it, but then God got mad at how Solomon was acting bad.

Our theme scripture in Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Long story short God didn’t get Solomon but God got his Children and thereafter they became evil kings and were punished for their actions.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit, Because you might make your children have to suffer for your bad actions.

Then quickly Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Point 4 The Way we Should live.

Brothers and sisters the bible says 31 Do not be bitter or angry or mad. Never shout angrily or say things to hurt others. Never do anything evil. 32 Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

I see several things and I’ll be out of your way.

1. Some people have been bitter and mad and sad so long until they have forgotten what the reason was that they were so mad and bitter against those people in the first place. I found out that the people they were mad with have died and been out of the picture a long time ago.

2. Psychologists say that in order for you to get better you have to at least acknowledge and release and forgive the wrong that’s been done to you so you! can move forward. Church, I can’t live my life in the rear view mirror. I have new an exciting things happening right now.

In other words leave the baggage behind because it ain’t nothing but a suitcase full of hard rocks, full of bad memories, full of hard times, full of resentment and strife. Let it all go. Let it go go go.

3. Never shout out angrily or say stuff to harm people or do evil stuff to people. And here’s why for me. Because Ephesians 4:29  says “When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger. Then what you say will do good to those who listen to you.

I’ve got to tell you the truth in love because the bible says in Proverbs 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. 12 As a earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear. Preach the truth in love and let the chips fall where they may.

4. In verse 32 the word of Power says “Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

The word of God teaches me that I must be kind and loving towards His people if I’m going to be able to Pastor them. Say Amen. The thematic message here at the famous Shiloh M.B.C. is that we have to Love God and then Love one another.

* Finally, I noticed that the 4 points that God gave me

1.The way we ought to live,

2. The Way We could live,

3. The way we would live, And

4.The way we should live are all contingent upon our willingness to cooperate with God and that’s called Free Will.

Everything I’ve been teaching about in this sermon is about our Free Will

You can do what ever you want to do.And and and God will respect your choices.

Live for Jesus or live for the devil it’s your choice. But you can’t live for both. You can’t say you’re for peace and invoke war. I’m speaking globally with a world view now and We can not have a (By Fur Kating) Bifurcating ideology and a (By fur Kating )Bifurcating cardiology. Meaning you can’t have two different opinions in your mind and in your heart at the same time.

Well I’ve held y’all long enough but tah I’ reminded of a story that comes to my mind um um um yes Old Man Elijah the Prophet
