Introduction

Our praise shouldn’t end when our night of praise ends. Very briefly I want to remind you why we ought to continually praise the Lord.
Count your blessings name them one by one
Bless the LORD o my soul-
Praise the LORD.
The New Bible Commentary Psalm 103. ‘Your God Is King, Your Father Reigns’

When the Lord ‘blesses’ us, he reviews our needs and responds to them; when we ‘bless’ the Lord, we review his excellencies and respond to them.

Praise the LORD by remembering all that he has done.
Forget not all his benefits-
All the good things he gives to those who believe. These are the blessings he gives to those who have turned from sin and put their trust in Jesus Christ. Those who are born again.
These benefits are free to us, but they cost God dearly. They were purchased for us by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

I. Forgiveness v.3a

“Who forgives all your iniquities”
Iniquity-
ALL-
God's forgiveness stretches to the length of Christ's atonement; and Christ's atonement stretches to the length of every one of the believer's sins, past, present, and future.
He can forgive because of Christ- Explain gospel.

II. Healing v.3b

“Who heals all your diseases,”
Many people know physical healing from the LORD.
Every believer will be fully healed one day.

III. Salvation v.4a

“Who redeems your life from destruction,”
This could mean physical death
But the term called also be translated as pit and understood as eternal salvation. Saved from hell.

IV. Love v.4b

“Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,”
He lavishly pours on us his steadfast love and his tender mercies.
He is gentle and loving with his people. He does us good. He wants our good.
He will never leave us or forsake us. He will never let us down.

V. Satisfaction v.5

“Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
He provides all of our needs. He gives both physical and spiritual sustenance.

Conclusion

Application
We have much to thank God for.
Of course only those who have trusted Jesus as their Saviour enjoy these benefits.
Praise the LORD and forget not all his benefits.
