Alright, so where are we when Genesis ends...
Exodus 1:1-10.
Oppressed them so they wouldn’t multiply
But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And the Egyptians were in dread of the people of Israel.

First time viewed as a nation “The People of Israel” - used a lot
PP - What if the people there were never persecuted? What if life remained good there?
Maybe wouldn’t have multiplied so greatly (as was promised)
Maybe would have intermarried with Egyptians and become a mixture
Maybe would have never left
