Dead or Alive

October 31, 2010 we were introduced to the first season of the AMC series base off of a comic book with the same title The Walking Dead

Wildfire Virus is a contagious disease that creates zombies. The virus originated from la Biomédicine DDMI in France and was discovered by the Center for Disease Control on 15 April 2010. The disease quickly spread worldwide and was declared a pandemic on 25 August 2010.

There has yet be found a cure for this virus that creates The Walking Dead. -

We are dead in are sin and trespass - alienated from God-enemies of God- How can we live? God-

The questing that you need to answers is are you Dead or Alive?

God alone brings the dead to life!

1. Apart from Christ you are dead in your trespasses and sins! (v.1-3)

Blinded - Can’t see - Spiritual Darkness

This - is a neuter which mean it is connecting to the who preseading statement.

What Paul is saving is that everything God’s Grace- Your Faith- and Your Salvation are God’s Gifts.

Romans 5:18 “18 So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is justification leading to life for everyone.”

Saved - Saved from what?

Saved from death

Saved from the wrath of God

Saved from Damnation

Saved from Hell

Saved to what?

Saved to Life in Christ!

Saved to receive the immeasurable riches of His grace

Saved to Receive God’s Love

Saved to be objects of God’s Love

Saved to be Gods Workmanship

Saved to do good works

Luke 18:25–27 “25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 Those who heard this asked, “Then who can be saved?” 27 He replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.””

Our Faith is not a work

God does not owe us salvation because we believed

God does not gift us faith because we deserve it

But because of Gods Rich Mercy and Love He freely makes us alive in Christ and gives us faith to carry on the purposes that He has for us.

October 31, 1517 -

Martin Luther a priest in Germany started what has been come to be know as the Protestant reformation. He wrote what is called the 95 Theses with 95 points agains the way they catholic church was taking advantage of the ignorance of the people and their understanding of the scriptures.

No more Transgressions but Good Works - Obedience to the Law

No longer Dead following the Prince of the Power of the Air and the spirit of the age - But Created in Christ and Following what He has prepared for us to do ahead of time

We are no longe alinated with God- We are seen not as children of wrath but as children of the promis!
