The Cost of Following Christ!

LUKE 14:25-33

1. True Worshipers:

Verse 26: Jesus states that He must come first! Our love for Him must be greater than our love for FAMILY AND OUR SELF!

Verse 27: Bear his own cross! The cross, the emblem of suffering and shame! The means of death! Willing to die!

* “the crowd who was following Jesus knew exactly what HE meant by this phrase!

2. True Workers/Laborers

Verse 28-30 NOT QUITTERS!

3. TRUE WARRIORS

VERSE 31-32 Against all odds from an earthly view. Count the cost!
