The Gospel is for all
The Gospel is for all
19-21
As we saw last time in the story of Peter and Cornelius, this Gospel is for all people.
What if back during the COVID pandemic someone had come up with a cure but they were only going to give it to people like them, what would you think of that person?
Ok now what about this, what if people are headed for eternal punishment and someone knew the way to avoid that punishment but was only going to tell people like them about it?
So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Share the Gospel without prejudice because Jesus died for his people without prejudice.
Encouraging
Encouraging
22-24
We need to be lifting one another up. Pushing each other forward!
And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,
not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
We can’t live this Christian life on our own. We need each other’s support and encouragement.
Teaching
Teaching
25-26
We need to be under good, biblical preaching!
Who else has had the terrifying experience of showing up for a test and realizing you studied the wrong material?
We need to grow in our knowledge and understanding and it needs to be correct knowledge and understanding!
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Be at a church that teaches the Bible!
Ministering
Ministering

The church is supposed to serve and care for one another. Locally and beyond.
Sometimes I will play football on the trampoline with my boys. The teams are always the same, the older two versus me and the youngest. Dawson has a favorite play that he likes to run. I snap him the ball, he jumps up on my back, and we go… Dawson has something he needs, a tuddy, and I put that burden on my back, literally.
We are supposed to carry one another. Share burdens.
And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Do this for your brothers and sisters, what ever that looks like.

verses 25-3
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Churches ought to be sending people out to share the good news!
If you’re church is doing all these things, man will you be filled up and growing spiritually! Help your church do these thing by doing them yourself! Invite others to join you in doing them. Talk to the people who can help make them happen.
