My Faith is...

Faith is laying hold of the unrealities of hope and bringing them into the realm of reality (by acting on the Word)

11 1 Now faith is to be confident of what we hope for,

to be convinced of what we do not see.

Now faith is.

A. Faith moves us to a decision, that will move us to an action.
Faith begins with a Fact, that ends with an Act. -Happy Caldwell
B. The principles of faith are the same in any area. We do not receive by hoping!
Hope is a good perceiver, but a poor receiver.
Jesus never fails, and God the Father never fails. Man fails.
2 Corinthians 13:5 The Message
Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it.

God does not change! Our prayer does not change God.

Faith changes things, not God!
Believe and Receive!
Mark 11:23–24 NKJV
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

You remove the mountain the same way it was created.

Hebrews 11:3 NKJV
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Believing is an Action Word!

Act on the Word!
James 1:22–24 WUESTNT
Moreover, keep on becoming doers of the Word and stop being hearers only, reasoning yourselves into a false premise and thus deceiving yourselves, because if, as is the case, anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, this one is like a man attentively considering in a mirror the face with which he was born. For he took one look at himself and was off, and he immediately forgot what sort of a person he was. But he who with eagerness and concentration has pored over the perfect law, the law of liberty, and has continued in it, not having been a hearer who forgets but a doer who works, this person shall be prospered spiritually in his doing.
Faith without works is dead
Luke 5:18–19 NKJV
Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.
Luke 5:20 NKJV
When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”
