Generous in love—God, give grace!
Huge in mercy—wipe out my bad record.
Scrub away my guilt,
soak out my sins in your laundry.
I know how bad I’ve been;
my sins are staring me down.
2samuel 12:13
Then David confessed to Nathan, “I’ve sinned against God.”
Nathan pronounced, “Yes, but that’s not the last word. God forgives your sin. You won’t die for it.
You can’t whitewash your sins and get by with it;
you find mercy by admitting and leaving them.
What is worse the sin that was committed or the act of trying to cover it up. Have you ever made a mess and tried to clean it up . Not just clean it up but you tried to clean it up to the point that no one would know that it ever happened.
Messing up is not good , however we all mess up at times , trying to cover it up , and not man or woman enough to fess up , is where the problem is . If you are man or woman enough to do it or say it , you should be man or woman enough to admit or confess that you it was you .
Just because you say I’m sorry don’t fix it . Even when you think you got away , remember that God is a all knowing all seeing God and that we have to give an account for everything we have done in this body .
