Proverbs 28:13 MSG
You can’t whitewash your sins and get by with it; you find mercy by admitting and leaving them.
What is worse the sin that was committed or the act of trying to cover it up. Have you ever made a mess and tried to clean it up . Not just clean it up but you tried to clean it up to the point that no one would know that it ever happened.
Messing up is not good , however we all mess up at times , trying to cover it up , and not man or woman enough to fess up , is where the problem is . If you are man or woman enough to do it or say it , you should be man or woman enough to admit or confess that you it was you . Just because you say I’m sorry don’t fix it . Even when you think you got away , remember that God is a all knowing all seeing God and that we have to give an account for everything we have done in this body . blot - erase
